Perspective Shift

Simply put
Things are not that simple
And I am not saying they should be
I'm a realist with a dream
and dreams are real
Perhaps perpendicular
doesn't mean a change of future direction
as one may simply suppose
but possibly a shift of perspective

I have a view and less of a point
I can see a straight line that's not so straight
and honestly
I'm waiting as I run toward a dream
waiting for
not so much
an answer
I'm waiting for a completion
